Into her dream he melted, as the rose
Blendeth its odor with the violet—
Solution sweet:

Lily of the Valley is a sweet and humble little flower with a fragrance sent from heaven, few flowers excite us flower lovers like this little one. Her flower meaning is sweetness, humility, returning happiness and trustworthiness, lovely traits for a florist ~ non? And partially the reason why chosen as the signature flower in the merci bouquet logo.
My love for LoV {my nickname for her} started many years ago while watching a program about May Day in France. A gorgeous elderly couple went into the woods and picked wild LoV to sell at their town centre for the 1st May ~ a celebration of Spring. They’ve been doing this for decades and it was wonderful watching them gather the blooms and lovingly tie them in bunches. There is something about the way the French live their lives, even this humble little ritual had such beauty and celebration ~ it’s the joie de vivre perhaps?
This is the official blog of my website www.mercibouquet.com.au! Inspired by a favourite quote “Just living is not enough,” said the butterfly, “one must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower.”~Hans Christian Andersen. I’ve decided on ‘…and a little flower’ because a little flower is what takes life from ordinary to extraordinary.
I’m obviously at the initial stages of setting this site up, I’m looking forward to sharing many lovely things here. In the meantime, please come and visit me at www.facebook.com/mercibouquet.
